Every child deserves a PERSONAL LEARNING EXPERIENCE, tailored specifically for that individual child.  For this reason, we allow each child to move at their own pace.  Whether the student is a high achiever, a moderately paced learner, or a slow learner, the educational process begins at the exact level determined by the child’s ability.  Our program is geared to meet their learning needs of individual children.  Let us show you how our way of learning consists of mastery-based curriculum and materials that are self-instructional, character building, and individually prescribed.

Many schools offer lock-step learning.  Each child can only move at the speed the teacher has assigned for the class as a whole.  Our program is completely different.  When your child arrives at Monticello Christian Academy, we will administer a diagnostic test to see if there are any gaps in your child’s education.  We will then design a curriculum path that fills in any gaps and puts them on a path to success.  We offer a student-centered curriculum that moves at the pace of your child.  Our method teaches your child to set and achieve goals daily.  These daily goals build to long-term goals like graduation.  Your child’s graduation date is fluid based on your child’s productivity.  If your child moves quickly through the material, mastering 80% or more, your child could graduate earlier than a projected date by age.  We have partnerships with colleges to make general education college credits available to your child if he/she advances quickly through the curriculum.  If you child needs more one-on-one instruction, our program is designed to meet your child right where he/she is and put them on a track that will lead to success.  Our program is not centered around time.  It’s centered around student productivity.  Each unique child moves at his/her unique pace.
