It’s an exciting time at Monticello Christian Academy! We are blessed to be celebrating 15 years of excellence in education. We have seen God do great things in the lives of many young people during the past 15 years. MCA started because God laid on the heart of Larry & Betty Doggett – the founders of Fountain of Life Church – the need for Christian education in Monticello, Arkansas. Their daughter, Kelly Word, was graduating college in 2004. She approached her Mom and Dad about starting the school that very year. The Doggett’s shared the vision of a Christian school that would not only hold high academic standards, but also teach the Word of God with the people at Life Church. One of the members, Debbie Scroggins, believed in the importance of a Christian education. She approached Kelly the next Wednesday night with a donation to help start the school. Her donation was the entire start up cost for Monticello Christian Academy! We thank God for the Doggett’s vision and Mrs. Debbie’s provision for MCA!

Larry and Betty Doggett, as well as Mrs. Debbie have gone on to be with their Heavenly Father, but their legacy remains. Larry and Betty’s daughter, Kelly, as well as her husband, Josh now pastor Life Church and are responsible for the day to day operations of MCA. We would love for you to be a part of the MCA family.
